Nevell Group (NGi) is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects in the Sacramento/Concord area. You will coordinate field operations, manage documentation, and help meet cost, schedule, and quality goals alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and trade partners to deliver drywall and framing work on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and proactive communication to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field OR 2+ years of equivalent experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day project coordination.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and close-out materials.
• Assist with job site safety procedures, compliance, and documentation.
• Monitor labor production, budgets, and schedules; prepare regular progress reports.
• Help develop and track punch lists to ensure timely completion.
• Review plans, specifications, and blueprints to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain effective communication between the project team, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.
