Job summary

Nevell Group, Inc. (NGi) in Orange County/LA County is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will work with field leadership, estimators, BIM/Design professionals, and owners, manage budgets and schedules, review subcontractor agreements, and drive timely project closeout while upholding NGi standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent construction experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with drywall, framing, ceilings, or interior systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, scheduling, contract administration, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations by ensuring the project team has tools, materials, and information.
• Review contract documents and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Manage project costs and forecast final costs across the lifecycle.
• Review weekly costs, identify cost issues or opportunities.
• Prepare monthly billings and manage cash flow.
• Coordinate with field and BIM/Design teams to deliver project design and documents.
• Lead project meetings with management, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop project team members, including Project Engineers.
