Labor Source Companies seeks qualified Commercial Construction Laborers for work in Charlotte N.C, whether Entry-Level or experienced!

As a commercial construction on-site worker, you are an essential part of the construction industry. Your role involves various tasks related to the construction, renovation, or maintenance of commercial buildings.

Here are some key aspects of your job:

Construction Activities: You participate in the physical construction process, including site preparation, foundation work, framing, roofing, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC installation, and finishing work. You may also be involved in the installation of fixtures, flooring, and other building components.

Safety and Compliance: Ensuring safety on the construction site is of utmost importance. You follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to local building codes and regulations. You may also participate in regular safety meetings and inspections.

Team Collaboration: You work closely with other on-site workers, including construction supervisors, project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and fellow construction workers. Effective communication and collaboration are essential to complete projects successfully.

Equipment and Tools: You utilize a variety of construction tools and equipment specific to your trade. These may include power tools, hand tools, heavy machinery, scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment. You ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.

Material Handling: You assist in the loading, unloading, and movement of construction materials, including lumber, steel, concrete, pipes, and other building supplies. You may also be responsible for inventory management and tracking.

Quality Control: You maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. This involves inspecting workmanship, identifying and resolving defects, and ensuring that construction meets the required specifications and standards.

Problem Solving: Construction projects often present challenges and unexpected issues. As an on-site worker, you need to think critically, troubleshoot problems, and find practical solutions to keep the project on track.

Time Management: Construction projects operate on tight schedules. You need to manage your time efficiently, meet project deadlines, and coordinate your tasks with other workers to ensure smooth progress.

Documentation: You may be required to complete daily reports, work orders, time sheets, and other paperwork to track project progress, labor hours, and material usage. Accurate documentation is crucial for project management and record-keeping purposes.

Applicants must:
  • Work a full 8–10-hour shift - 1st Shift.
  • Some weekend work - flexibility in your schedule.
  • Show up for work before 7am start time.
  • Lift approximately 35-40 lbs.
  • Work within Federal, State and Local Regulations.
  • Be able to legally work within the United States.
A successful Drug Screening is required.
