HB McClure Company is seeking a seasoned Construction Foreman with strong experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing systems. You will lead complex job sites, manage large crews, and serve as the primary field contact for customers and general contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in commercial HVAC/plumbing with crew leadership.
• Journeyman or Master’s license (Plumbing or HVAC) preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, cut sheets, and technical specs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with stakeholders.
• Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record.
• English language skills in written and verbal form.
• Pre-hire physical, background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Lead layout and installation of HVAC and plumbing on large commercial projects.
• Coordinate crews, deliveries and equipment to meet schedule.
• Manage project execution, production goals and quality with oversight.
• Directly communicate with general contractors and subs.
• Prepare material takeoffs and support cost projections.
• Complete daily reports, safety huddles and jobsite documentation.
• Mentor junior foremen and technicians to foster safety and excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Lead the layout and installation of HVAC and plumbing systems on large commercial projects
• Manage jobsite planning with a focus on staying ahead—coordinate crews, deliveries, and equipment to maintain schedule and production targets.
• Manage project execution, production goals and quality standards with minimal oversight
• Communicate directly with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal project stakeholders.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs and contribute to cost projections.
• Complete all required daily reports, safety huddles, goal tracking, inspections, and jobsite documentation.
• Mentor junior foremen and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, learning, and excellence.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 8+ years of commercial HVAC and plumbing experience, including at least 3 years of crew leadership
• Journeyman or Master’s license (Plumbing or HVAC), preferred
• OSHA 30 certification
• Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and technical specs
• Professional communication skills and the ability to build strong jobsite relationships
• Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
• English language skills (written and verbal)
• Successful completion of pre-hire physical, criminal background check and drug test
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record required
