Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support commercial construction across projects.

You will assist with estimating, buyout, submittals, change management and coordinate with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The ideal candidate has a construction management degree, 2–3 years of ground-up commercial experience, and proficiency with MS Project/Excel; familiarity with Procore, Timberline, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field
• 2-3 years experience in ground up commercial construction
• Knowledge of construction practices, methods and standards
• MS Project/Excel/Word at minimum; Procore/Timberline/Sage/OT Takeoff experience preferred
• Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Facilitate permitting and city coordination for projects
• Coordinate submittals and shop drawings through project completion
• Support field management with scheduling of projects and subcontractors
• Track RFIs and submittal documents
• Attend and document project meetings
• Assist in punch list development and follow-up
• Assist with take-offs, bidding and estimating
• Interpret blueprints and specifications
• Gather and monitor project information
• Estimate quantities as needed
