Job summary

Harrison Contracting Company (HCC) in Villa Rica, GA is seeking an Estimator to join the New Construction team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in construction estimating, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of construction estimating or related industry experience required.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates.
• Analyze labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor pricing, production rates, and other project costs.
• Manage bid deadlines, revisions, addenda, RFIs, and follow-up activities.
• Prepare proposal scopes, inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, alternates, and pricing.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, project reviews, and project turnover meetings.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, bid information, and project documentation.
