Harrison Contracting Company (HCC) is seeking an Estimator to join our New Construction team. The role focuses on reviewing plans, producing accurate estimates, and handling takeoffs to support bids from the bidding stage through turnover.

The successful candidate will analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs, coordinate with customers and vendors, and maintain estimating records to ensure competitive proposals and disciplined project handoff.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.

Harrison Contracting Company (HCC) is seeking an Estimator to join our New Construction team. This role plays an important part in helping HCC identify, price, and secure commercial construction opportunities.

The Estimator will review project plans and specifications, prepare accurate and competitive estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate labor and material needs, and work with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and HCC operations teams from the bidding stage through project turnover.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction estimating or comparable construction industry experience.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in commercial painting, specialty contracting, or commercial construction.
• Experience with digital takeoff, estimating, bid management, or project management software.
