Job Description

As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you are responsible for developing and maintaining accurate cost estimates for construction projects. You work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the scope of work, identify the materials and labor required, and develop a detailed budget. Estimators also play a key role in the bidding process, ensuring that the company's bids are competitive and profitable.

Candidate must live in the Mid TN region. Fully remote with occasional in-person requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine cost factors
2. Prepare precise estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
3. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors to gather pricing details
4. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency
5. Monitor market trends and material prices to maintain competitive bids
6. Assist in project budgeting and cost tracking throughout construction phases
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry regulations
