We are a Commercial General Contractor looking for an experienced estimator. This individual must have experience in Commercial General Contracting; Residential need not apply.

This individual MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM BUDGET PROPOSALS WITH LIMITED INFORMATION. A large percentage of our work consists of Design Build ground-up construction and Tenant Improvements.

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develop Budget Numbers
2. Prepare construction budget by studying plans, identifying and projecting cost for each division
3. Evaluate cost effectiveness (Value Engineer)
4. Submit customized reports to clients
5. Re-figure cost estimates when necessary
6. Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying, qualifying, and quantifying subcontractors’ bids.
7. Prepare proposals and Exhibits

Required Skills and Abilities:

10. Ability to use file transfer programs to send large drawing files to trade partners
