We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for commercial plumbing projects. The role involves analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project plans, requiring attention to detail and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial plumbing estimation and be eager to contribute to a growing company.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and documentation to prepare plumbing estimates.
• Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Create detailed bid proposals and present them to clients.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers.
• Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track project changes and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Maintain a database of historical data and pricing.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.
• Ensure timely completion of estimates in line with company policies.
• Support project teams during execution to maintain cost controls.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Minimum of 5+ years in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with estimating software and current technology.
• Understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
• Experience with Electronic Takeoff software.
