Estimator General Commercial

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and review project plans, requirements, and specifications
• Coordinate a team to develop large, multi-disciplinary estimates
• Determine labor and equipment costs
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
• Understand project logistics and schedules
• Assess project risks by reviewing bid documents
• Review quotes and estimates with the project team
• Prepare estimates at various levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
• Manage pre-construction duties and meetings with owners, clients, and engineers
• Serve as the company interface between owners and architects
• Develop leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subcontractors, and the project team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
• Experience working on large projects exceeding $5 million
• Advanced skills with estimating software
• Effective presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
• Understanding of horizontal and infrastructure projects
