Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager to support GovCloud projects in Falls Church, VA. The role involves coordinating information, maintaining schedules, managing budgets, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities span pre-construction, meetings, reporting, and closeout. A strong background in construction software and collaboration with field teams is required, with salary range reflecting government-contract expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience with sector/project-specific software systems (Microsoft Office suite: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and tools like ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and project documentation.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets for assigned projects.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages and assist in meetings.
• Update project schedules and ensure quality control and logistics.
• Assist in the closeout process and collaborate with site operations.
