Job summary

The B&B Concrete team is hiring a Concrete Carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry tasks on concrete projects. You will work under a Foreman, aligning forms for foundations, tilt-up panels, and other cast-in-place structures.

You must read drawings, handle physical work, and bring basic hand tools. OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one is required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus; weekend work may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble tilt up panels.
• Able to form footings, column pads and other structural concrete.

• Strip forms after panels are poured.
• Maintain and keep track of tools.

Job description

General description: The Concrete Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures.
