Job summary

B&B Concrete in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to work under the direction of a Foreman on concrete structures and site work.

You will fabricate tilt-up panels, form footings and column pads, install embedded items, and assist with layout while maintaining tools and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Able to work weekends if needed.
• Able to provide basic hand tools for carpentry.

General Description:

The Concrete Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures.
