Job summary

B&B Concrete in Indianapolis is seeking a concrete carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry tasks under a Foreman. You will erect and set forms for concrete structures, foundations, and site work per specifications.

Responsibilities include fabricating tilt-up panels, forming footings, installing embedded items, assisting with layout, stripping forms, and maintaining tools. OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Maintain physical strength and stamina.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work weekends if needed.
• Able to provide basic hand tools for carpentry.

General description

The Concrete carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures.
