Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Concrete Carpenter to join our skilled team on site. The role involves fabricating and assembling tilt up panels, forming footings, and setting structural concrete elements according to drawings and specifications.

You will work under a Foreman, ensure precise alignment of embedded items, and help with layout. Candidates should have reading drawings, physical stamina, tool readiness, and OSHA or willingness to obtain certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work weekends if needed.
• Able to provide basic hand tools for carpentry.
• OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Job description

General Description:

The Concrete Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures.
