Job summary

Commercial Climate Systems in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated Field Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and optimize commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation units. You will install equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure code-compliant operation.

Candidates should have 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, EPA 608, a clean license, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA 608 certification and clean driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and optimize commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, ventilation units, and boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and functional testing.
• Install equipment, ductwork, and controls per code and specs.
• Accurately complete work orders and service tickets; explain findings to customers.
• Work safely, follow OSHA standards, and maintain organized tools and vehicle.
