Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking a Commercial Cleaner in the United States to perform basic cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping and trash disposal, ensuring areas stay clean and presentable.

Responsibilities include stocking restrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning and following safety procedures. Candidates should have at least two years of related experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial preferred.
• No specific certifications required (preferred: relevant certifications are a plus)

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow established work routines and standards.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
