CBRE Government & Defense is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to perform essential cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, and common spaces. The role requires following company standards, maintaining supplies, and ensuring safety in handling cleaners and equipment.

The position emphasizes physical activity, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet time-sensitive cleaning goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or a similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored in a safe, secure area at all times.
• Complete standardized cleaning per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
