Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in designated areas of our facilities. You will perform mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and routine surface cleaning while adhering to safety and company standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related job experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as directed by supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; move or rearrange furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Keep cleaning supplies secure and properly stored.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and required in-service training.
• Adhere to work routines and standards; use procedures to solve simple problems.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
