Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Senior Claims Leader to manage a liability claims team across a range of caseloads, ensuring high-quality, timely service. You will hire, train, and coach adjusters, set goals, and drive performance using our technology stack.

The role requires extensive claims experience, leadership ability, and licensing across states, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10 years of demonstrated ability handling Commercial Auto Liability Claims, including Complex litigation, Bodily Injury, and Property Damage.
• 4 years of prior leadership experience.
• Nationwide jurisdiction experience preferred, licensed in states where claims are handled.

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a liability claims team to deliver high-quality, efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims per GB’s Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training to foster performance and improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and manage workloads for efficiency.
• Leverage Gallagher technology to enhance team efficiency and service quality.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers professionally and proactively.
• Manage multiple priorities and coach team members for development.

• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, encouraging a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.

About You

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

• Claims Background: 10 years of demonstrated ability handling Commercial Auto Liability Claims handling experience Including Complex litigation, Bodily Injury, and Property Damage claims.
• Prior leadership experience: 4 years
• Jurisdictional Experience: Nationwide preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
