Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an HVAC Chiller Technician to support mission-critical cooling infrastructure. You will perform startup, commissioning, warranty, and service work for complex chiller systems and build trust with customers in large commercial settings.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
EPA Refrigerant Certification.
5+ years Commercial HVAC industry experience.
3+ years experience with Chillers (air cooled/centrifugal).
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops.
Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods of time.
Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

Perform startup, commissioning, warranty, and service work on chillers.
Perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance.
Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams.
Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues for resolution.
Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements and operating equipment safely.
