Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician to provide expert field service across HVAC systems. You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, and calibrate equipment, including chillers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a field-based role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC, EPA Universal, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50lbs. Training and union benefits accompany a full-time position in the Lehigh Valley area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry.
• 6+ months practical working experience with chillers.
• Ability to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines.
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems.
• Assist in HVAC system planning and design; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment; document maintenance.
• Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards.
