Midwest Drywall Co Inc is seeking skilled and experienced Commercial Foreman Carpenters to join our team. As a Commercial Foreman Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction, installation, and repair of structures in commercial buildings.

This role involves supervising a team of carpenters. Your ability to work and manage a team efficiently will be critical to the success of our projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a foreman carpenter in commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle carpentry work.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project requirements, blueprints, and timelines.
• Supervision: Lead and manage carpenters, assigning tasks, ensuring on-time completion of tasks and quality of work.
• Carpentry Work: Perform carpentry tasks such as cutting and installing building materials including metal studs and drywall.
• Materials and Equipment: Coordinate materials and equipment for the project; track inventory and ensure on-site availability.
• Communication: Maintain clear, effective updates with the construction team.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress and material usage.
