Jobot is seeking a Carpentry Foreman for long-term commercial projects in Northern Virginia and the DC market. You will lead field crews, read blueprints, and coordinate daily activities to keep schedules on track while maintaining safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of commercial construction, strong carpentry background, and proven crew leadership. This is a long-term role with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• 3-5+ years in commercial construction.
• Strong carpentry or related commercial-trades background.
• Experience leading construction crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Lead, assign, schedule, and supervise construction field crews.
• Coordinate daily activities with project leadership, contractors, and suppliers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Determine manpower, material, and tool requirements for assigned work.
• Perform daily jobsite walkthroughs and identify issues affecting production or schedule.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain project quality standards.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and ensure crews follow procedures.
• Troubleshoot field issues and develop practical solutions to keep work moving.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and other resources for field operations.
• Communicate project progress with Superintendents and leadership.
• Train, mentor, and provide direction to field personnel.
