CCS Construction Staffing in Tampa, FL is seeking a Carpenter for a full-time, project-based role starting ASAP. The job requires assembling formwork, reading blueprints, and safely operating lifts, with supervision of 1–3 laborers. A strong carpentry background and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of carpentry experience.
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
• Demonstrated ability to perform carpenter helper tasks and skilled carpentry work.
• Ability to report to work reliably each day and arrive on time.
• Must have appropriate hand tools: framing square, crescent wrench, mag float, 100-ft tape, construction calculator.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install various types of formwork.
• Operate lull, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
• Read basic blueprints to identify dimensions and elevations.
• Use lasers for plumbing walls.
• Direct and manage 1–3 laborers or carpenters.
• Signal cranes using standard hand signals and English verbal signals.

POSITION DETAILS

• Pay Rate: $25 – $30
• Location: Tampa, Florida
• Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, starting at 7:00 AM
• Start Date: ASAP
