Job summary

CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring a Journeyman-Level Carpenter in Fort Pierce, Florida. This full-time, project-based role requires commercial carpentry experience, formwork, and layout skills.

The team will work five 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with ASAP start and a focus on safety and punctuality. Ideal candidates will lead small crews while maintaining dependable attendance and punctuality; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of carpentry experience.
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
• Bring and use appropriate carpentry tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks associated with a carpenter’s helper.
• Operate lull, boom lift, and scissor lifts.
• Assemble and install various types of formwork.
• Read basic blueprints, including dimensions and elevations.
• Use lasers for plumbing wall layout.
• Direct and manage assigned laborers, helpers, and carpenters.
• Signal cranes using hand signals and English verbal signals.

POSITION DETAILS

• Job Title: Journeyman-Level Carpenter
• Pay Rate: $25 - $30
• Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
