Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license is required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience; 3–5 years preferred for this level.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines and competing priorities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; professional in client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, correspondence and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues and support litigation strategy development.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trials.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for litigation proceedings and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts and court personnel.
• Manage case deadlines, maintain accurate case files, and collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on complex matters.

Skills

Active Florida Bar license

2+ years of litigation experience

Strong legal research
