Job summary

ISN Corporation seeks a qualified Commercial Building Engineer to operate and maintain a seven-story Bethesda facility. You will manage MEP, HVAC, alarm, and security systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities.

The role requires strong hands-on pneumatic HVAC experience and at least five years in a building engineering capacity. You will coordinate with vendors and tenants, oversee contracts, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering high-quality service to support

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Commercial Building Engineer in a Building Engineer role, not primarily as a Maintenance Technician.
• 5 years minimum experience with programmable logic controllers.
• 5 years minimum experience with mechanical systems.
• Must have Pneumatic HVAC systems experience; applicants without this will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the building’s MEP, HVAC, alarm, security, and related systems for a seven-story facility and surrounding grounds.
• Perform and document daily preventive maintenance per schedules, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain and monitor major building equipment including HVAC, cooling towers, generators, and related mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance contracts and outside vendors; obtain quotes and coordinate services.
