Aerotek is seeking a Boiler Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial boilers and related equipment across Chicago-area sites. This onsite role focuses on boilers, water heaters, pumps, and controls, requiring strong diagnostic skills and safety consciousness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working on steam boilers, hydronic boilers, and volume water heating boilers.
• Experience wiring and commissioning boiler and mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to work independently in field service.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls involving no heat and no hot water issues.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial boilers and volume water heaters exceeding 2 million BTUs.
• Diagnose and repair atmospheric and forced-draft burner systems.
• Wire and commission commercial boiler control systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair boilers, pumps, water heaters, valves, and related equipment.
• Follow company and industry safety standards during all service and repair activities.
