Job summary

Texas Collision Centers, Inc. Cedar Hill location is seeking an experienced Body Technician to perform collision repair work with emphasis on quality, timeliness, and safety.

You will disassemble vehicles to identify damaged components, plan repair steps, and execute repair tasks including grinding, welding, and fitting new parts. You will inspect repaired vehicles and ensure readiness for painting, while adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Exceptional auto body repair skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Dis-assemble vehicle to identify damaged components.
• Plan Auto Body Repair steps according to the Repair Plan; repair/replace damaged body components as identified.
• Grind, file, sand, weld, cut, etc.
• Thoroughly inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and ready for paint.
• Comply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Dis-assemble vehicle in order to assist in identifying damaged components
• Plan Auto Body Repair steps according to the Repair PlanRepair/Replace damaged body components as identified
• Grind, file, sand, weld, cut etc...
• Thoroughly inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure all necessary repairs are complete and vehicle is ready for paint
• Comply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level
