Job summary

Union Bank & Trust in Omaha, NE is seeking an Omaha Commercial Business Banking Vice President responsible for managing all direct and indirect activities for Commercial and Industrial clients. The role focuses on building a portfolio of new small and medium C&I customers in the Omaha area and requires strong business development skills for loans and treasury management products/services.

Essential duties include developing a client base with $1MM–$100MM revenues, pricing and negotiating credit

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in commercial lending or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of loan policy and procedures, commercial deposit accounts, cash management and other bank products.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and in working with other bank software.
• Loan approval authority based on experience and knowledge; Nebraska driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Commercial Banking client base consisting mainly of small and medium size market companies with annual revenues of $1MM to $100MM.
• Analyze, structure, price and negotiate credit requests.
• Conduct credit checks and make company visits as applicable.
• Prepare accurate loan documents with loan assistants and ensure proper file documentation.
• Monitor existing loans for compliance with terms and ratings; manage past due items.
• Call on customers and introduce services from other departments when appropriate.
