Job summary

American Bank Montana seeks a Business Banker to serve as the face of commercial banking for Montana businesses. The role blends retail banking knowledge with lending coordination, helping clients understand products and build lasting relationships.

You will meet with customers, propose deposit and cash management services, support loan processes, and collaborate with lenders to meet financial goals. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll represent the bank in the community and participate in

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Notary in Montana or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Some college or Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to commercial banking customers.
• Meet with commercial customers and propose deposit services.
• Create accurate CIF records and maintain lender file information.
• Provide loan support by processing payments, advances, loan funding and payoffs.
• Develop relationships with lenders and customers to act as a second contact for retail needs.
• Provide cash management services to new and existing customers including training.
