Job summary

First Bank of Montana is hiring a Commercial/Ag Lender at our Plentywood, Montana location to build and maintain a robust loan portfolio and develop customer relationships within the community.

You will assess applications, determine pricing and structure, and ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable laws while delivering high-level service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business.
• 5 years lending experience with emphasis on commercial and/or agricultural loans.
• One year banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working loan portfolio and liaise with customers.
• Grow your in-house loan portfolio and develop profitable relationships.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to other departments.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable laws.

Skills

5 years lending experience

One year banking experience

Credit analysis ability

Excellent customer service

Strong verbal and written skills

Education
