Job summary

HomeTrust Bank in North Carolina seeks a Commercial Banking Associate to support Regional/Market Presidents, Commercial Relationship Managers, and commercial customers with loans, deposits, online banking, and treasury management. You will coordinate deposit openings and construction loan administration, and maintain the Commercial Loan Process system for RMs.

Responsibilities include file maintenance, loan package reviews, and collaboration with Treasury Management.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of commercial or business banking experience.
• Knowledge of bank products and services ideally in commercial lending.
• Ability to process work accurately and effectively, to multitask in a high-paced working environment, and to handle confidential information.
• Above average computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner in one-on-one and small group meetings.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills within a team.
• Ability to think and act independently within bank policy and authority.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or maintain electronic commercial relationship customer files.
• Manage Commercial Loan Process system (CLP) for prospects and applications.
• Coordinate deposit account opening, maintenance, online banking, and Treasury Management referrals.
• Review loan files for accuracy (CIP, Borrowers, Guarantors, UCC, etc.).
• Identify potential personal banking needs and refer to appropriate team.
• Assist RM with credit approval package and review of term sheets and memos.
• Support RMs with portfolio management and document tracking.
