Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year, accredited college or university.
• Strong preference for Finance or Accounting major or concentration.
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship now or at any point in the future.
• Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills demonstrated through previous work experience, other internships, and/or extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Observes day-to-day activities of Loan Officers and Credit Analysts with mentors.
• Observes and practices underwriting processes for loans of different sizes and industries.
• Performs analysis and formulates questions to enhance underwriting.
• Participates in loan committee meetings to learn the loan approval process.
• Observes loan package preparation and coordination with Loan Services for booking/funding.
