Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior or senior standing; must not have graduated prior to internship start date.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to Commercial Banking and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending by working alongside experienced banking professionals.
• Support the Chicago Commercial Banking team through financial analysis, portfolio reviews, and transaction-related projects.
• Participate in client calls, meetings, and team discussions to understand relationship management and business development within Commercial Banking.
• Assist with evaluating financial information, analyzing business performance, and supporting credit underwriting and risk assessment activities.
• Develop understanding of Commercial Banking products, services, portfolio management, credit processes, and risk management practices.
