Western Alliance Bank in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking a Credit Analyst for the 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program. You will spread, analyze, and maintain financial background information on current and prospective clients and prepare credit studies for Loan Officers and executives.

The role focuses on mid-market lending, supporting the Credit Administration team, reviewing financial statements, producing in-depth reports, and coordinating with treasury management and other bank groups.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread and manage financial background information on present and prospective customers to develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives.
• Manage spread assignments and conduct financial analyses, maintaining related records and files.
• Prepare a variety of credit department reports.
• Collaborate with Bank groups to execute treasury management products, FX instruments, derivatives and legal documents.
• Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans.
• Monitor loan disbursements to ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
