Job summary

The Jacobson Group is seeking a claims professional for an in-office/hybrid role in Arkansas, handling a mix of commercial auto casualty and property/homeowner claims. You will perform coverage investigations, liability determinations, and damage evaluations while negotiating settlements when appropriate.

This temporary position runs through October 2026. Responsibilities include planning investigations, recording statements, and documenting communications, with a focus on excellent customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial auto casualty claims handling experience
• Active Arkansas adjuster license
• Experience handling first-party property, auto damage, third-party liability, and both personal and commercial lines claims
• Strong fundamentals in coverage analysis, liability and damages evaluation
• Ability to conduct investigation planning and record statements efficiently
• Understanding of duty owed, breach, coverage, liability and damages
• Excellent reading comprehension and rapid learning ability
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Guidewire or InsuranceNow (preferred)
• Must be able to commute within approximately 30 minutes of Arkansas office

Job description

Job Description: This in-office/hybrid role involves working three days in the office and two days remote at a location in Arkansas. The position supports a claims team handling complex commercial auto casualty claims and property/homeowner claims. The candidate will be responsible for conducting coverage investigations, liability determinations, damage evaluations and negotiating settlements when appropriate. The role requires managing claims from initial assignment through resolution, providing excellent customer service and supporting team collaboration. This position is temporary, supporting the team through the end of October 2026.

Pay Range: The anticipated pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
