Job summary

Weld County is seeking a Commercial Appraiser to value and assess commercial and industrial properties for ad valorem tax purposes. You will collect property characteristics, apply mass appraisal methods, and support appeals with detailed reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years appraisal experience in commercial/industrial property preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and verification of property characteristics.
• Value and assess commercial/industrial properties using standard approaches.
• Assist taxpayers during appeals and provide information about processes.
