Field Service Technician - Watertown, New York

Position: Commercial Appliance Service Technician (Remote)

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, Full-time

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration units, and more. If you enjoy driving a company van home and representing a team that values you, this is the opportunity for you. Job Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking equipment
2. Treat customers and colleagues with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
3. Complete service calls efficiently and timely
4. Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales teams
5. Participate in after-hours and weekend standby rotations
6. Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
7. Maintain the service vehicle
8. Order parts and complete necessary paperwork
9. Attend training sessions to stay updated
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in cooking equipment service or related military experience
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Dedicated, punctual, organized, and professional appearance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, broilers, warewashers, etc.
• Experience with commercial cooking equipment
• CFESA certification and factory training
