Job summary

F&M seeks a detail-oriented loan processor to evaluate commercial and agricultural loan requests for policy compliance. You will document data, assemble closing packages, and support loan officers and assistants throughout the process.

You will also prepare amendments, log information in spreadsheets, and maintain QC records, while delivering strong customer service and professional communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1–3 years banking/loan experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capable of handling customer and teammate contact situations tactfully and professionally.
• General knowledge of bank operations, lending, and information technology.

Responsibilities

• Review all commercial and agriculture loan requests for compliance to loan policy.
• Prepare all commercial and agriculture loan closing documents.
• Prepare commercial and agricultural modifications.
• Log commercial and agricultural information on Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.
• Log items in the QC database.
