Commercial Account Manager, Energy Efficiency

Position Overview

Location: Charleston, South Carolina (Remote - With Local Travel)

ICF is seeking a Commercial Account Manager based in the Columbia, Charleston, Aiken, or Beaufort SC area to support the delivery of commercial energy efficiency programs. The role involves managing a pipeline of existing projects, recruiting new participants, and engaging with customers and contractors to boost participation in utility incentive programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with program participants and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on energy-efficient technologies and practices.
• Track project progress and communicate with customers and contractors.
• Conduct presentations, trainings, and surveys to promote energy efficiency.
• Support the evaluation and verification of energy projects.
• Travel locally as needed (reimbursement provided).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Sustainability, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of experience in utility, energy efficiency, or related trade.
• Experience working with commercial and industrial clients.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and program implementation.
• Experience with energy audits, energy savings calculations, and platforms like ENERGY STAR or LEED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation

Pay range: $55,124 - $93,712 annually, based on experience and location.
