Position Title: Commercial Account Executive (P2)

Role

The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for developing and closing new revenue opportunities within the defined profile of Commercial accounts in the region. This involves growing revenue from existing customers and establishing new customer relationships with prospects. The successful candidate will quickly learn Crown Castle’s product set and differentiators, develop sales opportunities, engage professionally with customers, and strategically close new business.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve quotas.
  2. Conduct sales meetings, presenting Crown Castle’s value proposition.
  3. Drive sales opportunities through the entire sales process.
  4. Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  5. Serve as the primary customer contact, providing high-level service.
  6. Generate leads through prospecting and relationship-building.
  7. Communicate effectively across internal departments.
  8. Master internal sales and marketing systems.
  9. Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in CRM.
  10. Provide accurate sales forecasts.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in network infrastructure.
  • Experience with Enterprise accounts.
  • Knowledge of WDM, Ethernet, Cloud Connectivity, IP, Fiber Optic services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Organizational Relationship

Report to: Manager Fiber Enterprise Sales

Title of direct reports: N/A

Working Conditions: Remote role with on-site collaboration in Ohio (Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus). Travel may be required.

Salary range: $67,400–$92,700 annually, based on experience and location. Compensation may include bonuses, commissions, and equity incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and holidays.
