Job summary
tarte seeks an experienced Ecommerce Engineer to own hands-on development for Shopify Plus, including Liquid, Node.js and React, while shaping architecture across order management, fulfillment and integrations. The role partners with Product, Marketing and Merchandising to translate launches into robust technical solutions.
You will stay ahead of Shopify Plus developments, mentor peers, and help build scalable, AI-enabled workflows to enhance the global DTC experience.
Qualifications
- 7+ years ecommerce engineering experience with Shopify Plus and Liquid.
- Experience architecting integrations across ERP/OMS/CRM/payments.
- Strong communication of technical architecture to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Write code for Shopify Plus apps using Liquid, Node.js and React.
- Own and extend AWS Lambda functions connecting OMS to commerce stack.
- Provide architecture guidance and review approaches for scalability and risk.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Merchandising on technical decisions that drive customer experience.
