Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior commerce/retail media leader to own day-to-day strategy for accounts, crafting annual growth plans, promotional calendars, go-to-market plans and product launches.

The role partners with Advertising Managers to design multi-platform advertising strategies, ties advertising to retail fundamentals, and manages client interactions with regular performance updates and reviews. Strong analytics and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent in marketing or business field.
• 5+ years in commerce/retail media or related leadership role.
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and present to executives.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day commerce strategy for accounts, including growth plans, calendars and product launches.
• Design advertising strategy with Advertising Managers across Sponsored Products/Brands/Display and DSP.
• Connect advertising to retail fundamentals including catalog health, pricing, promotions, inventory and supply chain.
• Manage client interactions, facilitate calls/meetings and share performance details.
• Build and present monthly/quarterly reviews linking advertising and retail to outcomes.
• Analyze Vendor/Seller Central and measurement data to identify growth opportunities.
• Create and maintain sales and inventory forecasts, flag risks.
• Support negotiations and joint planning with Amazon and other partners.
• Coordinate goals with account, advertising, content, Investment and Data & Measurement teams.
• Use AI-enabled tools for research and planning.
• Mentor junior team members and onboard new clients/vendors.
• Implement process improvements and support scalability across Commerce.
• Package learnings into case studies and client-facing insights.
• Contribute to the Media Strategy department and agency culture.
