Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a Commerce Copywriter to develop and maintain product content across retailer and commerce platforms for a leading CPG client. The role covers PDP copy, enhanced content, retailer brand stores, and image assets, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with retailer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in communications, journalism, English, marketing or related field.
• 3–5+ years in copywriting, commerce content, product marketing, content management, digital commerce, retail, or agency environments.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and content quality management skills.
• Experience developing content for eCommerce, digital shelf, retailer, marketplace, or product-focused environments.
• Experience optimizing copy for use experience and conversational tone.
• Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines, claims docs, retailer requirements, and regulatory considerations.
• Experience managing multiple brands/categories/workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain product titles, feature bullets, descriptions, and PDP copy across retailer and commerce platforms.
• Develop copy for enhanced content modules, retailer brand stores, image assets, and other commerce experiences.
• Translate approved product information, claims, ingredient details, and package copy into clear, shopper-friendly messaging.
• Apply brand guidelines and retailer requirements across multiple brands and environments.
• Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to support content development and quality assurance.
