We are seeking Testing and Commissioning Engineers to work in ComEd’s West region. This role involves field work, troubleshooting substation equipment, and supporting maintenance and commissioning activities. The position includes a take-home vehicle and opportunities for overtime pay. Responsibilities include commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting protection and control systems such as relays, SCADA, automation, fiber optics, power line carrier, and revenue metering. Engineers will develop plans, perform tests, analyze results, and support corrective actions, while leading safety and maintenance efforts.
Primary Purpose
To perform testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting on transmission and distribution substation equipment, including developing plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and supporting emergency and routine maintenance activities.
