Job summary

Trillium Construction is now seeking Combo Welders for the Boise, ID area to support an Air Liquide Plant project for the next 3 months. Welders must read and interpret plans, perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW on stainless and carbon steel, and pass on-site tests. NCCER or NCCCO training is preferred.

Work is 5-10’s, 8-hour days, Monday–Saturday. Pay is $49/hour plus $175 per diem; a $3/hour completion bonus applies if terms are met. Bring reliable transportation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Industrial welding experience required.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints and weld symbols.
• Must pass on-site tests and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld ductwork, hoppers, bag houses and supports.
• Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW as project needs.
• Interpret project instructions and work with fitters.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure safety.

Trillium Construction is now seeking Combo Welders in the Boise, ID area!!!

Trillium Construction is looking for Combo Welders for the next 3 months working at an Air Liquide Plant.

It’s a big natural gas separator and storage facility. Would prefer to have individuals with NCCER or NCCCO training. Welders must be able to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, weld symbols, and other written instructions to perform tasks. Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW, and other mixed type of welds based on project needs. Will be asked to weld duct work, hoppers, bag house’s, attachment points for various other trades on site. Stainless Steel, carbon. New welders will be testing on site, tests include: 4” Sch. 10 Stainless steel pipe, 6G position, GTAW all passes - Visual. Monster Coupon (2-1/2” O.D. x 5/8” wall, carbon steel) 6G position, GTAW all passes (ER70S-2 filler) - Visual and X-Ray. Company may also give a Tee-Joint fillet weld SMAW (E7018) test to a few if there is a structural need for supports and misc. structural fillet welds also. Will be asked to test piping systems for leaks. Must be able to use threading machine and bend pipe by hand or with benders on site. Must be able to work well with team and fitters in efficient and safe manner.

Can start ASAP! Will work 5-10’s and an 8-hour day, Monday - Saturday. Pay is $49/hour and per diem is $175 all 7 days, should you work all scheduled working days. There is also a $3/hour worked completion bonus at the end of the project (must end on good terms to qualify).
