Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of welding experience.
• Must pass weld test and be certified as a welder.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Comply with safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, aligns and fits components for welding.
• Welds carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, etc., using arc, heliarc, gas, MIG, TIG processes.
• May assemble parts by bolting and riveting; may repair products by dismantling and reassembling parts.
• May use a cutting torch to cut materials and dismantle existing assemblies.
